If your guitar has a pointy headstock and adiminishing sized Kramer logo with the letters diminishing in size from the K to the R and,there is a script 'American' decal after the 'KRAMER' logo, it is a 1987-1994 American Series Kramer Guitar. That it is an iconic guitar that graces an album cover helped too. If a serial number is not in the lists or is not recognized in the serial number decoder, it does not mean that the guitar is a fake. Conversely, it is of course no guarantee whether the guitar is authentic, as a serial number is easy to copy.
